The Neighbourhood Votes project of the Toronto Neighbourhood Centres strengthens our belief in civic engagement. We know it is crucial that community members feel connected to our democratic system. The project's engagement activities include the development and dissemination of community tailored civic literacy training and educational materials, the facilitation of community conversations, the hosting of local democracy engagement activities, and the creation of community directed videos amplifying the voices of marginalized groups.
